Steel Detailing Services

Tekton Construction Services was founded in 1996 by Herman Mayfarth to provide detailing services to fabricators of structural steel and miscellaneous iron. Tekton has used computerized detailing methods exclusively since the company was founded. Tekton has been using ProSteel to model and detail structural steel since 2009.

Using a 3D model, we can provide:

• Advance bill of material
• KSS file for import to Fabtrol & other MRP programs
• DXF & DSTV files for NC machinery
• CIS/2 file for import to Tekla - or other BIM requirement
• Collation drawings for connection material

We routinely transmit electronic drawing files to our customers. We can exchange information with architects and engineers, and collaborate effectively with other detailers on projects which exceed our capacity. All detailing is done in California, U.S.A.
